These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Merlion Ledger website at merlionl.live and your enrolment in any course offered by Merlion Ledger. By accessing this website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If any part of these Terms is not acceptable to you, please do not continue to use the site or enrol.

2. Nature of Services
Merlion Ledger provides financial education only. The Courses are designed to help learners understand investment concepts, terminology, and processes relevant to Singapore-based individuals. Nothing on this Website, and nothing contained within any Course or Course Material, constitutes:
- financial advice, investment advice, or any form of advice regulated under the Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110);
- a recommendation to purchase, sell, or hold any particular investment product or security;
- a representation or indication of the likely future performance of any investment;
- an endorsement of any financial institution, platform, or product mentioned in illustrative contexts.
Merlion Ledger is not licensed by MAS as a financial adviser, capital markets services licensee, or exempt financial adviser. Learners who wish to act on the concepts discussed in a Course should seek guidance from a licensed financial adviser before doing so.
3. Enrolment and Course Access
To enrol in a Course, you must be at least 18 years of age and must provide accurate and complete contact details during the enrolment process. Enrolment is personal to the individual named at the time of registration and may not be transferred to another person.
Upon successful payment, Merlion Ledger will grant you access to the relevant Course Materials for the duration stated at the time of enrolment. Access details will be sent to the email address provided during enrolment. We cannot be responsible for non-delivery arising from an incorrect email address.
Course content is delivered over the weeks indicated for each Course. Weekly readings are made available on a rolling schedule. Merlion Ledger reserves the right to update, revise, or supplement Course Materials at any time to ensure accuracy and relevance, including to reflect changes to MAS regulations or policies. Material updates will not reduce the substantive scope of a Course already paid for.
Merlion Ledger does not award certificates, qualifications, or academic credits of any kind upon completion of a Course.
4. Fees and Payment
Course fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes. Current fees are:
| Course | Fee (SGD) |
|---|---|
| Reading the Landscape of Investments | SGD 219 |
| Putting Ideas on Paper: A First Portfolio Worksheet | SGD 479 |
| Reviewing and Adjusting with a Steady Hand | SGD 759 |
Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment. We accept major credit and debit cards processed through our payment provider. Merlion Ledger does not store card details; all payment transactions are handled by the payment processor subject to its own terms and security standards.
Merlion Ledger reserves the right to amend Course fees at any time. Any change in fees will not affect enrolments already paid for prior to the change.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
We want learners to feel confident enrolling. If, within seven (7) calendar days of the date your Course access is granted, you find that the Course is not suited to your current needs, you may request a full refund by writing to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request – [Course Name]".
Refund requests received after the seven-day window, or where the learner has accessed more than the first module's materials, will be considered on a case-by-case basis at Merlion Ledger's discretion. We will respond to all refund enquiries within five business days.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within ten business days of approval. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer.
If Merlion Ledger is unable to deliver a Course due to circumstances beyond its control, enrolled learners will receive either a full refund or, where possible, access to equivalent materials.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website and within any Course Materials — including text, layouts, graphic elements, worksheets, templates, and the selection and arrangement of publicly available information — is the property of Merlion Ledger or its content contributors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your enrolment fee grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Course Materials for your own private study during the access period. You may print or save individual pages for your personal use. You may not:
- reproduce, redistribute, or republish any Course Material in any form without prior written permission;
- share login credentials or Course access with any other person;
- use Course Materials for commercial purposes, training, or group instruction;
- remove any copyright or attribution notices from downloaded materials.
Requests for limited reproduction for educational or non-commercial purposes may be considered; please write to [email protected].
7. Acceptable Use
In using this Website, you agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its underlying systems;
- transmit any unsolicited commercial communications or introduce any harmful software;
- use automated tools to extract content, data, or Course Materials at scale;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or organisation;
- use the Website in any manner that is unlawful or that could damage the reputation of Merlion Ledger.
Merlion Ledger reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to a learner who breaches these conditions, without refund where the breach is deliberate or material.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
This Website and its Course Materials are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take care to keep content accurate and current, Merlion Ledger does not warrant that all information is complete, up to date, or free from error at every moment. Investment-related regulations, products, and market structures in Singapore are subject to change, and we encourage learners to verify information with primary sources such as the MAS MoneySense website.

Our Website and Course Materials occasionally reference or link to external resources — including MAS MoneySense publications, CPF Board guidance, and SGX-published materials — for context and further reading. These links are provided for convenience only.
Merlion Ledger does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content of any external website. The inclusion of a link does not imply that we recommend the products, services, or opinions of the organisation behind it.
10. Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Our Data Protection Officer may be contacted at [email protected].
11. Changes to These Terms
Merlion Ledger may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate, in applicable law, or in the range of Courses offered. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of this Website or Course Materials after any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the Website and, if you have recently enrolled, contact us to discuss your options.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage learners to contact us directly. Most questions can be resolved quickly and cordially through a short exchange.
